Dragons
Dragon with boulder opal
This was actually an annoyance...The stone is a boulder opal
that I got in a lot from the internet, and despite description it was not gem grade. So I had the choice of either cursing and throwing it away or making the best of it. So I stuck a rather large dragon on.
Dragon with Mookaite
Since I saw a dragon in the yellow pattern of the mookaite, I put one verysimilar to that one on top of the setting. It seems to have an attitude,though, as it looks like threatening the one in the pattern
Two dragons with atlantisite
This was such an oddly patterned stone that I decided someone hadto have been messing with it. So here is one playful dragon pulling the green off so the violet shows through and its twin who is waiting to see what happens.
Small dragon with star apatite
That one is tiny. And even with the starstone it looks somewhat bored.
Dragon on matrix
The dark garnets in this stone have been facetted, the matrix has been left in natural state.The dragon guards the garnets and holds the stone in place.
Hanging dragon
This one may require an explanation...Imagine a young dragon sitting on his treasure. Imagine some adventurer coming along deciding to catch the young dragon. With a fishing line and a shiny ring as bait. So the dragon bites *TWANG* but as it is pulled upward, it grabs on to everything of its hoard that it can possibly reach. It won't let go of the shiny ring either...but it's getting really annoyed.I'm not sure it came out the way it was supposed to be but hey :)
Chinese dragon
A friendly Chinese dragon on a boulder opal.
Faerie dragon
A faerie dragon, and incidentally my first experiment with enamel. Didn't quite turn out the way I wanted but I decided to leave it at that. Eyes are sapphires.
