A controller for a gate with two leafs

The System

The Gate-Controller is designed to control a gate with two leafs and 24V DC motors. I am using a FAAC Drehflügeltorantrieb 413 LS 24Vdc with internal endswitches and mechanical end stops (unfortunately there is no datasheet on FAAC's website but I guess it's the successor of the 411 LS).
The key-features of the controller are:

2 leafs
remote control
external switch
safety light barrier
adjustable motor force
adjustable motor speed
current up to 3A (for each motor)
status display
internal and external buzzer
signal lamp
relais contact for external light
RS485 interface
